Looks like mine! Only better. The deer ate my new ones... dumb me, I forgot I had to fence them in for the first 4 years or they were Bambi food. sigh. Around here, they are also called Althea by the older generation - and I do mean older, folks in their 90s. I think I need one out front where I can see it from the computer window. And I like your choice of colors - the sofa goes with the painting perfectly!

Hi Ann...sorry I haven't visited in a while!
We are having a lot of these bushes bloom in our neighborhood...so pretty!
:)
Beautiful roses... The fence isn't ancient---it's vintage, a classic. Vintage fences hold great value and are hard to come by! Have a great weekend.
I love Rose of Sharon. It has such a sweet old fashioned look, nothing fancy but it sure does bloom up a storm.
