And One For Dad

This little basket was made by Little PenPen for her dad. It has little birdhouses and birds stamped on it and in one on the blocks she has written "Curts Goat Farm." The handle to this basket is a wire formed into a goat. We keep a pad and pencils in this one hanging on our back door. So if you come to visit and we are not home, please be sure to leave us a note. Thanks!

Now I know why everyone has been commenting about my baskets on my blog. LOL I enjoyed making those baskets and had forgotten I had made so many! I gave away all my basket making stuff about a year ago... if I ever do that again, I'll have to start from scratch. Funny, when I look at those baskets, I think of Dr. T. from Grifton. When I was making those, I was making H.H. visits to his home and discussing baskets everyday! (he made baskets too)

What a lucky lady you are to have baskets of memories, not just baskets for memories.

I have always loved baskets. What a fun idea to hang one where guests can leave their messages if they find an empty house....

That is a neat idea - if I ever get by there, I'll leave a note. :) Until then I'll just leave notes here. :) ec

Such pretty baskets. I have a real weakness for goats so the goat message basket is my favorite.

Lucky you to have such nice baskets from PEN PEN.
Enjoyed looking at your site and wanted to thank you for stopping by mine for a visit.
Yes, good ole pen was keeping a big secret from us, but now we know.
