We had rain storms last night. In fact our electricity was off for an hour. Didn't even get to see Big Brother.I love these late thunder storms as they keep me from having to haul water around to my plants. So... this morning everything seems fresh and renewed, especially the weeds. This tiger lily was given to me by my cousin Shirley. It's one of my favorites.

Isn't that the way it always is--- Either you're hauling water without the rain... Or you're pulling the weeds because the flourish with the rain....Makes you appreciate the sunny days and the rainy ones too.
I just adore Tiger Lillies. We had the pink & the orange ones in our garden when I was a child. I bought an orange one here, but it only lasted 2 years, & then it must have died. Yours is lovely.
Oh NO! You missed Big Brother??? The flowers are pretty and I was very thankful for the rain too!
