The Surfs Topsail NC

This is where we spent the 4th. Our second son invited us for the day. This is the view from his deck.

This is the view with my feet in the water!

Most of my time was in the shade of the canopy watching the action on the beach.

We all had a very good time!

Sounds (and looks) like y'all had a great time. I know what you mean about staying in the shade, my skin just won't take it. ec

It looks like a perfect place to be, holiday or not. I'm not much for getting in the water anymore, but I do love to sit a listen to the waves and breathe in the salty air!

And yet another lovely trip I've taken without leaving the yard! I do love my armchair tours, lol...thanks so much!

We live about three miles from such a place. I just don't like the sand at all. My skin don't like the sun. So I bought me a CD with the sound of the ocean on it. I do like to drive down some late evenings and just look at the Ocean just to remind me of the power of Almight God. It is so beautiful. I loved going via your photos. Glad you had a good time. connie from Texas

Looks beautiful and inviting there, Ann. Great pictures. I went to a funeral on the 4th, but spent Saturday and Sunday at the river, dipping my feet in. I'm glad you had a nice 4th.

It's sooooo hot around here! Hope it's cooler in your neck of the woods.

Take care!

Absolutely wonderful, I miss the sea badly living in Okieland and originating from an island.

Thank you for stopping by my blog and congrats on your award too!
