Bridge Is Out

Some people are having trouble coming to my house since the bridge is out. My cousin visited my mom and called me saying she didn't know how to get here. I told her to follow the detour signs.

She convinced me to meet her at mom's. She said she had something for me.

The three Raggedy Dolls in front are what she brought me. The pretty doll in back is pretending she doesn't know the rag dolls. (Another friend gave me that doll .. she thought my dolls were ugly) What the pretty doll doesn't know, and my cousin does, is I love Raggedy Ann/Andy Dolls best! Thanks Cuz !!

Well, I'll tell you one thing. The Raggedy Dolls certainly seem more loveable than the stiff pretty doll. So, if she will just bend a little she might find Raggedy Ann dolls are the best friends she could have!

I love the Raggedy Ann dolls your cousin gave you. They are beautiful. I also like porcelain dolls, but there's nothing so loveable as a Raggedy Ann/Andy. Brandon has a lovely Andy doll that his cousin gave him when he was little. It's adorable. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gifts.

Blessings,
Mary

Ms. Ann, the road people have been blocking my regular roads here since about March! I've spent no telling how much extra gas taking detours!

Love the dolls!

The doll in the back needs an attitude adjustment so she can welcome her new friends!
Isn't it nice to have unexpected gifts given to you!

We've had road construction all around the area for better than a year now. Fortunately not too many detours - they are supposed to be finished with most of it about the end of the year. ec

I love Raggedy Ann and Andy. The first doll I made was a tiny Ann with a lovely blue dotted swiss dress and a starched white apron. My sister Toni admired her and so she went home with her. It's where she still lives! Lucky you!!!

Lucky you... more dolls! I don't know what I'll "ever" do with all those dolls when I inherit them. :o)

The Raggedy Dolls are just adorable, and have been loved by children for ages. I think I remember you showing some in the past. You must have a nice collection of them, don't you Ann?

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Very just - just "follow the detour signs." There's a spiritual illustration there some where.
