Waiting for Spring

These wait patiently at my front door

Just a couple of weeks ago, we had just a bit of spring. Even last Friday, seeing the tractors in the fields, it felt like spring.

And then came the weekend. Rain on Saturday and Sunday turned into snow flurries for us yesterday. Last night we got a light dusting of snow. Today is cold and windy...Brrrrr!!

March certainly came in like a lion!

I'm ready for Spring too! The weather keeps teasing us and then biting us in the back!

I'm ready to be able to walk at lunch in comfort and to work in the yard. But it'll be in the 90s before we know it and I'll be ready for Fall again!

You know, after this winter, I will never complain about summer again! I would rather have the heat then the ice, snow and bitter cold, any day!

Love your angels as well. It was cold here today, too, 38 and a wind that chilled the bones. But a warm-up is on the way starting tomorrow, and the forecast says 60s and 70s well into next week, so woo hoo!

Have a nice evening, Ann.
