Oh, nice colors, Ann! Love the grape hyacinths. My redbuds are in full bloom now, and the dogwoods are just starting, and I have a few irises blooming as well. But the oaks and hickories, just starting to leaf out, will never be the same, with so many of their limbs missing. Looking at them makes me want to cry. But Spring is beautiful nevertheless.

Have a nice evening!

Hugs,

Renie

Is it ever nice to see Spring flowers. We still have a lot of snow on the ground. We have had some rain so I went over my rubber boots in mud in the pig pen. Yuck!
Thank God for small mercies. I didn't have mu boot sucked off and I didn't fall down. Double yuck!
"April showers bring may flowers."

You made me smile with your comment on my blog concerning a "Chesterfield" My grandparents were English and in our house the sofa/couch was always refered to as a chesterfield, "Philip stop jumping up and down on the Chesterfield." Actually our Chesterfield was more like a davenport. A Davenport is often a fold out couch. A Chesterfield is Davenport with high stuffed arms.

Now I am sure you are confused but I am glad I expanded your vocabulary.

Beautiful photos! Looks like you are little bit ahead of me, my dogwoods are on the verge of blooming but aren't quite there yet.

And I love the Collard Festival mural too!

Everything is so pretty! When I left home on Tuesday, my crabapple tree was pink and just about to bloom. I'm going back home today and look forward to seeing it, hopefully, in all its glory!

I know what would be nice......to be on the Coast in February, then work myself up towards the North and experience Spring for about 4 months.
