Under the Weather

Maybe I should say under the blanket.

I'm not feeling well. I suspect sinus/cold infection. I've been on the couch part of the day all wrapped up in this throw.

There is something so comforting in wrapping yourself up in the LORD's Prayer when you are sick. My SIL gave me this throw many Christmases ago. It's one of my favorite things.

I did drag myself out today to vote early. We were in and out very quickly. Glad that's done.

Dear Ancient One, I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I know having the throw to wrap yourself in was very comforting. To know that the Lord know our every need and has His arms around us will take us through many illnesses. Get well soon, you will be in my prayers. Have a cup of tea and rest. connie

I feel for you since I am just recovering from one of those infections - took 2 rounds of antibiotics. I am back to my OLD self again. :) ec

Get well, Ann. And try to keep the chill off, it's getting cold at night.

Oh, I would love to wrap up in the Lord's Prayer today too! I hope you feel better soon.

Have you heard the song, "Jesus is the Lighthouse"? I gave my dying friend (Doris) a throw with lighthouses on it and told her about the song. She was very touched. I did a post about her under "heart strings" 2 or 3 months ago.

Wow, wouldn't that be a great gift, a cd with the song and a throw with lighthouses on it! Anyone going through a tough time or just a cold, could wrap up in the throw and know that Jesus is the lighthouse!

I hope this finds you feeling much better. There is no place like the couch when feeling sick.

Awwwww, I'm sorry you are sick. :-( But staying quiet and warm is probably one of the best things you can do for it. That lets the body work on fighting it off. I hope.

Gentle hugs,
Miss Mari-Nanci

Hope this finds you feeling better. We all have been under the weather with the same stuff. It seems like when one of us gets over it, bAM, someone else has it. Take care and hope you and yours have a blessed day.

I like your throw and it looks very comforting.. I was in hospital last year and my son gave me his baby quilt for comfort. It really helped
