We used to have an old fellow near here who used to rent out a goat or two by the week to people who wanted to clear out honeysuckle and brush. He said they would even eat briars! If I remember correctly, one could rent a goat for $3 a week! But that was around 1970. Today it would cost more than that for the gas just to get the goat to your house!
Maybe you could start a new business???? Rent a Goat!

I couldn't figure out what was different! I guess I was thinking they had torn down something that had been there before and I couldn't have known what was there before! ;-) My brain is on a differnt wave length this morning.

Have a great weekend!

i guess i can't see the difference between black and brown. :(

At first, I thought one was going the wrong way... then noticed the black and brown only after reading the comments...I like the one in front standing in the food trough. My aunt used to raise goats, and they were amazing to watch.

Very subtle difference. I didn't catch it, either. But then the ones in the back look black to me, too. Apparently getting older causes color-blindness. lol

One goat has black markings around the eyes. Wonderful take on this week's hunt theme.

Blessings to you and yours.

I think it's the black goat too, and I think he's looking for some daffodils that aren't poisonous!

What lovely goats, Ann. I have certainly missed taking the boys to the farm. First they were sick and then their mom had surgery, then her incision opened, then I was sick... needless to say there hasn't been many farm visits for awhile.

If this snow ever stops (it's been snowing here for over 24 hours and we have about 9 inches) I'm hoping to take them to the farm this week. They are off on March break and the lady said we could come anytime. However, all the goats are gone and so are a few of the horses. I'm hoping there's some new goats by the time we visit.

Enjoyed my visit here, as always.
Blessings,
Mary

Great picture, and a fun challenge to find what's different. It took me a while to notice the black markings. I always thought it would be fun to have goats.

Thanks for stopping by at mine. Your comment asked where to find the art boxes in the photo ... I'm kind of afraid to leave you a link here, since you're having problems in comments. But if you go to www.harmonykingdom.com and click on the link at the top of the page for Dealers, you'll find sources. For pictures of the boxes, click on the icon for Treasure Jests. There are also people selling them on eBay. Again, thanks for stopping by!

Every goat is facing a different direction.

Our maintenance supervisor sat down in my library the other day between classtimes for a few minutes rest. She had been up all night helping deliver goats. She took a call on her cell. Her hubby called to say they had anthoer set of twins. Called back ten minutes later: it was triplets.

I thought the one in the front was standing in the feeding trough, but I guess that is not very different.
