Happiness Is......

Jesie, asked me to take part in this Happiness Project. So I did! ..LOL

Questions:
1. How do you define happiness? Happiness is an expression of things that happen to you that make you glad. And things that happen to you that are not good, cause unhappiness. I prefer the state of JOY over happiness any day. JOY is the feeling of peace and security that can only come through the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your happiness now, versus when you were a child? About the same. However, if you want to know about my JOY, then now it is way over ten. I didn’t know the Lord Jesus Christ when I was a child.

3. What do you do on a daily basis that brings you happiness? (and how consistent is the feeling of happiness throughout your day) Again Happiness depends on the happenings of my day. If all the news is good, I’m happy. If things go pretty much my way, I’m happy. But JOY is there even through the most trying times. No matter what happens, I know the Lord Jesus Christ. I know HE will comfort me, satisfy all my needs, never leave me. I can trust HIM through everything.

4. What things take away from your happiness? Hearing that someone is sick or hurting in some way and there’s nothing I can do about it. Even then I can have JOY knowing that Jesus knows all about it and will work things out according to his GOOD WILL!

What can be done to lessen their impact or remove them from your life? Just trust my Lord Jesus Christ. HE knows all things and HE is able to carry me through!

What do you plan on doing in the future that will bring you even more happiness?
Trust Jesus more!

Amen. I know that you are a happy person and it would be helpful to share with others your source of happiness.

If you don't mind, click on Alex's "guidelines" on my post, it will tell you more about the happiness project.

After that if you let Alex know that you participated in the project, he can add your blog as a participant in the project on his blog.
