There's this place not far from my home.
This is an old picture. Today, though, on my way to pick up some more high dollar milk for the little goats, I passed this place. Today I could see about a dozen daffodils blooming. By Easter it will look like that picture. People come from everywhere to take pictures among those flowers.
Sping might be coming early despite what that groundhog said...LOL

I am ready for the spring flowers. I don't think that groundhog can even see this far south. :) ec
Good Early Morning Ann,
Oh those Daffodils are just beautiful. "THANK YOU" for sharing them with us. I do enjoy seeing them bloom. I hope it doesn't do like it did last Spring when everything was in bloom. We had a killer frost and hard freeze. I have put up a post. It's late, but I went ahead and done one while I'm waiting for my DH to get home. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
I just love the magic of a field full of daffodils!
Hey Ann,
Beautiful picture! My jonquils/daffodils are poking out of the ground, and usually be the end of February, they are blooming. Can't wait. Of course, yesterdays warm temperatures got the peepers going at the pond. What a chorus that was. I love to hear them. Tonight, its cold again, so they went back to their hiding places.
I think the groundhog is wrong, too. We'll have an early spring!
Have a great night!

WHAT DO GROUNDHOGS KNOW, oops, sorry, I was shouting, um, not nice, no not nice atall. But you do get my point. Why don't they ask Possums???? Huh???? We don't sleep all winter. We are up and about checking on things, keeping track of things for our humans who don't know much more than groundhogs... I mean, they BELIEVE in that shadow stuff. GIVE, oops, sorry, Give me a break! I hate to get this upset this early in the year, but take it from this old possum, spring is on its way... Of course, we gotta have that Onion snow yet... But if you yanked me outta bed while I was still sound asleep, I would tell you Winter, too, just so I could go back to sleep. I mean, what would you say??
Again, looks like HOME to me! I have some little purple flowers blooming, I noticed yesterday... crocus? (not sure)
I want spring, too....come soon, spring.
The photo of the daffodils reminds me that spring is coming. It isn't around the corner in my neck of the woods yet, but it won't be long.
Our city plants daffodils between the lanes of the roads. They look beautiful in spring. No wonder so many people come to photograph these lovelies.
Blessings,
Mary
