Somerset Place: The Collins Family House

Somerset was closed on Sunday, so there was no one there to give us the tour. Except the house cat. She kindly showed us around.
The Gardens were beautiful.
We saw a slave house. Once there were twenty of these on the property.
They had their own hospital on the place.
This grand plantation is located on Lake Phelps which you can see in the background.
And in case you were wondering what the man in the post below saw when he was peeking in the window, I took a picture through the window.
