Thief

This is a neighbor's dog. Two different neighbor's kinda' claim him, and kinda' deny him. The one neighbor had this dog. The dog played in both neighbor's yards. Then the second neighbor started letting him inside his home at night. Now he has found our yard.

He's a cute dog, but he worries our old dog, wanting to wrestle all the time. They even almost made my husband fall playing around his feet.

Husband wishes he would stay home. He has been known to chase the guineas. And lately he's become a thief. Husband was missing a boot. After looking around outside he finally went to visit the closest neighbor. He found his boot. Now he makes sure he puts them up high outside so the dog cannot reach them.

We can't say too much. We've had puppies that stole things from the neighbors too. Just their nature, I guess!

Guess it's a darn good thing he's friendly and only steals things and doesn't try to eat people, 'cause he's a big ol' Bubba! LOL!

My father was the local minister so it was a disgrace to have a dog that was a thief. It was a time when milkmen still delivered door to door but bottles had changed to paper cartons and our dog Chris would bring home half gallons of milk. My mother would grab them up and hide the evidence. Mom would also protect Chris when the dogcatcher would come around.
