Getting Ready

Even the spiders are getting ready.

Her dinner is caught in the web.

Look closely in the lower left corner. There is a black butterfly handing upside down in the web.

Didn't see it? Click on the pictures to make them bigger.

Okay, everyone stay safe !!!

Gross, I hate spiders, and that is a big sucker!
Good luck with the storm... we are expecting it on Sunday night. You and your family will be in my prayers!

We have one of those in the shade garden. I think the water sprinkler finally tore the web down.

Maybe you won't too much damage, but I bet our yards will be a mess, at the very least.

Just hope the electricity doesn't go off... we'll need to be able to cool off when we are trying to clean up the mess the winds make....

She is a beauty. I love spiders but then we don't have nasty ones in England!

Oh no! The poor butterfly! I would have had to save it... don't think I could stand to see that. I know... let nature take it's course and all that... But I LOVE butterflies.

Great pics - that is a *writing spider* - superstitious tales about it - for instance if it writes your name you will die...

Whenever I see a little butterfly or whatever caught in a spider web, I rescue it if it is still alive.

The butterfly was dead already when I snapped the picture.
