Love the purple pirate. Your clematis is just a little lighter purple than mine. I'm not sure mine will bloom this year. We had to dig it up when the plumbers came to fix the underground pipes. I do hope that it makes it but it's looking rather sparse right now.

Dear Ann~~ Lovely to hear from you and I quite understand how we cannot read everyone's blog or we would never get anything else done. I have been having pain on walking for over 6 weeks, and had the accident which didn't help. My carer got out with just a few bruises. I am just now feeling better after a few tablets, reducing the pain etc. Thank you so much for your kind words and concern. Love your purple flowers. Take care, Love, Merle.

Purple is a happy color even on a priate. Are these this year blooms? If so they are far ahead of the Tn. blooms.
