Global Warming ?

Time for my annual "Global Warming" rant. It has been so cold here this week.

I still don't believe that there is a global warming problem. I think someone is making money off all this and I think his name starts with a G.

I think some in my neighborhood do believe. Some have planted palm trees.

I know the picture is poor quality, but if you look closely, you will see palm trees wrapped in tarps. Somehow I think it's not warm enough for palm trees in my neck of the woods.

I am not sure if I believe it or not, Ann. I know G (I wonder who that could be, LOL) IS making a lot of money off of it, but I do believe that we have to try and take better care of our planet.

As for the cold, good griefus, we were mighty close to zero for a couple of days! Today, we reached 50. It felt like Spring!

Happy Sunday!

If you come to my neck of the woods, (Michigan)...there's no global warming here!

The earth is doing whatever God wants it to do. I'm sure we are not always the best stewards of our earth, but God is still in control. Right?

I am with Pen Pen as far as we are the stewards of the earth. I don't think we treat Mother Earth very well and I do believe there is global warming if you look at the Artic and Anartic and the polar bears. By the way, it's brrrrrr here, too.

I didn't know palm trees could stand cold weather and live. We have a place here in our town that puts real palm trees out side their store in good weather and our library takes them for him in winter and puts them in the lobby.

Palm Trees?

I'm not so sure about global warming either, I think if the planet is heating up, it's not enough to detect just yet - but the icebergs melting does concern me - and may be an indication that something is happening. But perhaps it is just a natural pattern that occurs from time to time.

Right now, I don't feel anything heating up! It's too cold!

I'm with you. I think it is a hoax. But the idea of planting palms then wrapping them up made me smile!
