It is HOT !!

This clock sits on top of my computer desk. My son gave it to my husband last year at Christmas. Can you believe how hot it is?

My husband keeps our air set on 80 for the summer. (unless I sneak in and bump it back a little) Even the air conditioner is having a time keeping the temp correct today. Eighty feels mighty good when the out side temps are 102.

Oh, I can't stand the hot humid weather. I keep my A/C at 74 most of the time. So far we haven't hit the 100 mark yet. We have been having rain almost everyday, but the hot days are just around the corner.

I hope it is cooler weather for you this week. Otherwise, jump in a cool shower, to cool down. Sometimes it helps;))

Hey Ann,

Yep, it's hot! We haven't been at a 100, but mid-90s are hot enough. I have had my air on 70, late afternoons. Tonight, we had a mighty strong thunderstorms and now we have cooled down to 70. It feels heavenly! Tomorrow will be only in the 80s but back to 90s by Wednesday. This is July weather in June, around here.

Keep cool!

Renie

Ann,

Yesterday was stifling here. Toronto issued a hot air alert and handed out bottled water to the elderly and the homeless. They opened city hall and other places where people could go and stay in the air conditioning 24 hours if they wished. They call these places Cool Centers.

It was 91 here but with the humidity, it felt like 104. We set a record from 1959.

Take care and try to stay cool.

Blessings,
Mary

We have had a couple of days in the 100s, really rough to try to work outside - have to do that early in the morning or late evenings. We usually have our daytime temp at about 75 but cut it down for the evening. ec

OMG -

It hasn't got that hot here yet but it's been in the middle 90's. It won't be long!

We have been hovering in the high 90s. I have not turned my AC on yet. I don't know what has got into me this year, I think it must be a guilty conscious. I feel bad that my husband has to work outside, it seems selfish of me to be in the AC when he has to be in the heat.

It is cool in the mornings, and I go out to putter around in the gardens. Around 11:00, it gets hot enough that I want to come in, and I don't go back out until after 6:00 in the evening.

Actually, I know if I turn the AC on, I won't go out and work in the garden anymore. So, I am gonna wait until I melt before I turn that switch.

One thing is nice, the electric bill is lowest it has been in months.
