After The Storms

We had tornado watches and warnings most of the day yesterday. I'm so thankful that we didn't see any bad weather. We just got some welcome rain. Some of the counties near us were not as fortunate.

Today is another day. The clouds are clearing and the weather is cooler. For us life goes on as usual. Some of our neighbors are picking up and starting over.

I'm glad you didn't get any tornadoes, Ann. My heart always goes out to the folks affected by all the severe weather this spring. It's so heartbreaking to see all the devastation. Not just here, but in other parts of the world as well.

Those tornadoes were terrible... the pictures were almost unbelievable. I'm so thankful that I've never been through anything like that!

So glad you had not bad luck with the winds Ann. Must be scary to live in the path of tornadoes.

We have had quite a bit of rain lately, which is needed, but no severe weather, for which I am thankful. I'm glad you got some rain as well and will be praying for those who were hit by the storms.

Blessings,
mary

Glad you made out all right. My heart goes out to those who suffer.
We had a lot of flooding, but nothing too severe. I considered putting a sign up putting my place up for sale as waterfront property. Today, the water has receded, but I won't have to water the garden for a few more days!
