The shadows are getting longer and the nights are coming faster. This picture was taken about 3 p.m. on Monday. My side of the road is already in shadows. Across the fields the sun is shining. The crops have been gathered and I can now see my far neighbor's home.
In the woods the trees are casting their long shadows. Notice how the goats have cleaned up the underbrush in this area.
I love living out in the country. It is nice and peaceful out in our neck of the woods!!

Good Evening Ann,
Oh what beautiful pictures. It all looks so serene. I would love living out in the country, I think. LOL. I did one time live out in the country for 1 week when I was married to my first husband. It was a farm house and wasn't in the best of shape. I didn't like it out there because no one came to see us. But, if I had a nice house, I might would like living in the country. Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures with us. I really enjoyed it. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.
Hugs,
Karen H.
I LOVE the woods photo, I like it so much I wish I was in it :)
These photos are lovely Ann!
I love the serene fields after the harvest, & the sense of resting after heavy work.
Ah but soon its the 21st and then the nights pull out.
great photos.
My walk continues
I love these pictures and the goats below. I'm a country girl who has been misplaced to town for way to long. Thanks for giving me my country fix...
Hi Ann

Blessings,

Nothing is better than living in the country! I dream of being way out in the country again... no immediate neighbors! (I'm thinking of my neighbor with all the dogs right now)
Ahhh, nice pics. Um, could I borrow a goat or 2 for a while????
Do they eat poison ivy (or as the locals call it, poison ivory?)
I've been a city girl for so long I sometimes forget how lovely the country can be.
Merry Christmas if I don't get back before then.
I love the pictures!!! I can't believe how dark it gets now..kinda of depressing but I do love the fall/winter seasons
