Contaminated

Use separate (or disposable) eating utensils for the first few days and wash them separately.

Use separate towels and washcloths. Launder your bath towels, bed linens, and clothng separately.

Try to keep the time you spend in close contact with others to a minimum.

Try particular to minimize time spent with pregnant women and young children.

Drink plenty of liquids.

And so goes my life for a few days. I received the radioiodine yesterday. Today I am posting, by hunt and peck, wearing disposable gloves. Now, I'm going to go read some other blogs.

My MIL had the same thing, but they kept her in the hospital over night. When she got home, we weren't allow to touch her. Because of that I felt a strong need to hug her! Strange how being forbidden makes it a "want to".
You have to be the hug Nazi, NO HUGS FOR YOU!! LOL!

I had it done in 2009, and was no fun at all. My throat got also very sore a few days after. Sorry to hear you are going through this. I have Graves Disease which is why they gave my thyroid the atomic solution. :(

((((virtual hugs)))))
