Quick runs to the town 10 miles north of me are necessary. That's where Staples and Office Depot are located. Sometimes the traffic gets heavy.
When I reach this part on my way home, I know I have one more stop light and a four way stop before the traffic gets back to two lanes and I'm back into country traffic. Just me and the road.

I would much rather drive where there is less traffic. I avoid going to the north end of town if I can, but that is where Staples and other shops are located, so every once in a while I have to go there. Drive carefully.

At least you have a short journey back to a quieter drive...mine stays like the one you drive into town. How I envy you!! The trees looks so pretty in the picture, we're still waiting for ours to get leaves up here! I think I need to move south. Yep, I really think so!
The older I get, the more I dislike going driving- either as a passenger or as driver!
We are lucky about here, it is not too busy, but down in the city... scares me to pieces!
I hate that busy traffic too! But isn't it wonderful that all those good stores are so convenient to where you live?
Ahh, yes, just the road and you! What a nice way to end a harried trip !
