More of the Quilt Story

Just a quick blog to see if I can do this. On the day that we took the quilt along, my husband spied the perfect place to pose the quilt. We passed it and I never even saw it on the way down to the museum. So he was driving back up toward Buxton looking for a "spaceship"? We let it get past again, but turned around to get the picture.

As we turned in, he noticed that someone else had a camera set up and seemed to be taking a picture also. He asked if we were getting in her way and she said, "No, go ahead".

After we took our pictures, she walked over to talk to us. She said she had just talked to the owner of the "spaceship". A man from Greenville had it built and he and his family stayed in it when they came to the beach. She was doing a documentary for school. If this ever shows up on PBS, you do not know the woman with the southern drawl!! And I will deny it forever!!

Okay, if this works, I used the HTML tab.

Oh how cool! And you drove past it twice?????
Guess you are used to seeing thing like this down in your neck of the woods! Too funny!
Wouldn't it be fun to make one for a vacation place?
