Junking

So last Friday we took a little time to do something fun.  We took a little side trip on our way to see husband's sister in the nursing home.  We had wanted to go through this junk/antique store for a while now.  It was extremely hot on Friday. We went through most of the things inside, but didn' t really look as much as we wanted. They had no air conditioner.  Just a small fan blowing directly on the woman minding the store.  I will say this.  These people had a very large collection of just about any thing.  The prices were too high for me.  I will be going back to the thrift store and the flea markets to shop. I don't need one thing.  But every now and then something catches my eye.  I told my husband that after he cleans out his work shop, we should drag some of our stuff out there and display it. We can fix up a fine junk barn. Ha ha.

I used to love to browse in places like this. Unfortunately, I don't have any room left to buy more stuff, so I had to stop looking.

It's fun to look through places like that. I'm never good at finding much though!

I love JUNK! I think I know the store you are talking about; I 've always wanted to stop there too.

I never get tired of junking...I just get tired! LOL!
I do get really turned off when prices are to high, it kind of ruins it for me.
Maybe I'll come shop in your junk barn!

I will be so glad when I am back on two feet and able to go junking again! Right now I have to let those two American Pickers Mike and Frank have all the fun...but I enjoy watching them pick and find treasures in the junk
