It's Cold

We were lost in New Bern last week. Not really ..just couldn't find the place we were looking...having left the GPS at home.

My daughter discovered this statue last summer and snapped a picture of it. She looked really cool. We happened upon the same statue and I snapped a picture of her. She looked really cold.

Hey! Sorry it's been so long since I stopped in. I hope your holidays were fun. That is a pretty statue, but I agree, she looks a little cold!

We've been in the deep freeze since last Tuesday, but today (Sunday) we got to 30 and tonight the low will only be 18 instead of 4 with -10 wind chill! And this week, we may even hit 50! Time to get the shorts out. LOL.

Love the statue of MM. Stay nice and warm!

ha ha ha ha... yes, she looks cold! Was the little Chinese woman watching you snap the picture? she was out in her yard when I came by... I asked permission and she readily agreed. I would love to be LOST in New Bern!

Well if that statue were here today, she would be soaking wet - but not cold. We have made it up to 60 today - what a treat for the furnace, but it is too wet and windy to go outside! 40 mph winds would really blow her skirt up!

Is this in someone's yard, a town square?
