Did you miss me?

So what do you think of Global Warming today? I ask myself this each year and I'm still convinced that it is all a bunch of "Junk". Imaginary carbon points to be bought and sold like stocks. Don't get me started.

My mom fell and fractured a vertabrae in her back. Nothing to do for it... it has to heal itself. She spent a few days in the hospital and is now staying with me trying to get well. Prayers for her recovery would be greatly appreciated.

They are promising us our first snowfall of winter tonight. I hope it is not much. The weather people think about an inch is what we are expecting.

My husband has an early morning appointment, tomorrow, with his doctor to have more skin cancer removed. They took a spot off just under his ear. They will cut deeper until they are sure they have it all.

His good friend is going with him to the doctor so I can stay here and look after mom.

As you can tell, I've been pretty busy. Everything is going smoothly right now, so I thought I'd let you know where I am. Soon going to bed and expect to wake up to snow.

Brrrrrr !!

Ann,

It is snowing here at the moment. It started about a half hour ago...very fine snow but accumulating quickly. I'm not sure how much we are going to get. We had very little when it started, maybe an inch.

Praying for your mother's speedy recovery. I'm sure you have your hands full and am glad that your husband's friend is going with him tomorrow so you can stay home with your mother.

Take care and stay safe and warm. I'm not sure if your area is getting that blast of Arctic air or not, but it is cold all over the world.

Blessings,
Mary

Praying for your Mom's speedy recovery. We have have been thinking about her and praying for her. Hope all goes well with your hubbie today too:-) OH...we woke up to NO snow this morning at all. We were only looking for a dusting. I sent a package to your Mom today via Fed Ex so let her know it's on its way..hope she likes it. And I just found the rest of my Christmas cards so I am hoping to get yours in the mail even though it is now Jan. 8th (figured you still might want the pics on it)! I have terrible Mommy syndrome these days, I misplace things all the time...I have about 10 cards that I didn't finish getting out...I thought I had left them at work the entire time I was out on vacation and then I found them in the bottom of a bag while I was cleaning up the other day! I really think I'm losing it sometimes...LOL! Take care and tell everyone hello:-)

wow, i hope your mom heals quickly and i hope they get it all with your hubby. as for global warming, it's a joke! and just to prove my theory last night there was a guest on i think letterman if i remember correctly. i flipped over to the show and she was talking about global warming which made me get ready to flip it off the channel when she said something along the lines of this " well global warming is really weather of any extreme". LOL. So in other words when Al Gore and the rest of the knuckleheads were saying how the earth was going to burn up because of all the heat from the global warming and they NEVER mentioned anything about extreme cold "global warming" they were mistaken back then? What they meant to say is that either heat or cold is global warming? HA! give me a break. the earth will always bounce back and forth between heat and cold. the atmosphere is always changing. nothing will ever stay the same. they are just eating their words now and trying to not look stupid.

Hi Ann, Happy New Year and I am sorry to hear your mom took a fall. It is so tough on someone who is independant and proud to all of a sudden be "under the watchful eye" and "waited on". Geesh, my dad use to mind that. I had to be very careful that I didn't look like I was "helping" him in any way!
Good luck with your mom, and I wish her a fast recovery.

Ms. Ann, sorry to hear about your Mom's back. Hope it soon feels better and glad it wasn't a hip or something worse.

We didn't get that snow, did we?

I've put your Mom on the prayer list, and let my sister know to put her on her list too. My sister is the best pray-er ever! I swear she has a direct line to God's ear. I know we all do, but hers never seems to get any kinks in it.

I am weary of winter already. It came and killed most of my yard. Tropicals don't like 19 degrees for 18 hours, then another 3 days of cold. The warmest temp we had was 35 degrees. Whine, whine, whine!

I am already shopping. Shopping is good.

I am the same way about global warming. Just a scheme to get some people rich, is what I think, and I am not one of those people.

Are you still farming? My friend is doing something- decorating her house, or buying more land????

I have not gone there. A blog is all I can handle, and I don't do that very well sometimes.
