Car Dog

*The pics are better if you click on them to make them bigger.

Today after taking mama to the doctor, I noticed a car dog. You know how I am over car dogs, right?

It tooks some coaxing but he finally smiled for the camera.

Car dogs crack me up!

Yes they are cute & funny. It always brings a smile to my face when my lil dog jumps up to the window to see if I am coming.

You wouldn't let that cute doggie in that car in your house, Ann? Why not, don't you like lots of doggie hair on everything? Haha.

Loved the picture!

Reminds me of the quote: "why is it that a dog gets irritated when you blow at it's face, but happily stick it's head out of a moving vehicle" :)

Would you stick your fingers in near those little teeth?
He's cute... BUT...

He looks pretty calm. I probably wouldn't be scared to pet him. As long as Mama was there to let him know it was o.k.

I wouldn't know how to live if everything I owned wasn't upholstered in doggie hair. It moves down the hall in wafts, I think it is a mouse, and scream for DH to save me. Only a tuft of hair.....

I do have to confess that I like a dog with short, smooth hair, rather than one with long, fluffy hair.

Been there, done that. LOL

P.S. is it cool there? If someone left a dog in a car here, they would be arrested. The dog would surely perish, as it is sooooo hot! 136 degrees in my Suburban in the afternoon.....

This was early Monday morning... not too hot yet... and the windows were down and the woman was sitting in the car with the dog... I was parked just a little bit passed them and got the shot by looking out my window back at the dog... don't even know if the woman knew I took it.. and yes I saw those sharp looking teeth... I wouldn't have petted him for anything.. My mom was with me and she said when she was young a dog bit her and she's been afraid ever since... I like big dogs that live outside... German Shepherds are my favorite...

I used to have German shepherds that lived outside. It was in another life, and my MIL/FIL were very wealthy people. She was afraid someone would kidnap our kids. So....We had 9 of them, and they guarded our property. A man took care of them for us. They were friendly dogs, and would allow anyone to come in the yard. You could come in the house, even if we were not at home, as long as you didn't touch me or the kids. The DH, they didn't care about. If we were not at home, burglers could come in and pack up the TVs and the silver.

They couldn't leave. The dogs would attack anyone trying to leave the property.

The theory was that if our kids were kidnapped, it would be from home, as they were small at that time. So, nobody was going to get a chance to steal one of them from the yard.

I really like German Shepherds too, but my favorite is a Doberman. They are wonderful dogs.
