What Now?

Some are saying no boots on the ground, yet I know people have been sent to help somebody do something. Special forces they call them. Do they go barefoot or maybe they have hovercraft?

Do we hit them hard or just let them keep on getting away with marching south?

And back home, what's with bringing all those children over here to suffer. Those camps can't be good, can they? What's the plan behind this? I tell you those humans have me so confused. I am so glad all I have to worry about is our man coming around with the sweet feed at the end of the day. He never lets us down.

It's a confusing business for sure over there. I don't know what children and camps you're talking about though.
Glad the goats are happy!

The children are coming from South America to the American border... The Feds are taking them in and sending them to different towns and cities in the states to take care of them... The US dept of health and human services seem to be in charge of this...

Once again a lie has been told and the desperate with a need believe. The story circulating in Central America is that the USA is allowing children in with all kinds of benefits, just pay (me) and I will get your kids to the border and once they are across, all will be well. So these poor people scramble to get every penny they can and send their babies off to the land of dreams and some buzzard pockets their money... and here they are, over 50,000 children without parents, innocent enough to believe they have arrived in the land of milk and honey and someone will take care of them.
And just WHO is going to do that when we can barely take care of what we have here at home?
Many of these kids are pre-teens, not nearly old enough to fend for themselves. And a thousand more will be across the border before this day has ended.
How sad, how sad. Not just for the kids, not just for the parents who believe they have done a good thing for their children (tho I can't imagine it... maybe it is like giving your baby away for adoption???? and hoping someone will take them and love them and give them a good life????)
But what is anyone to do with all of these thousands of children suddenly showing up on our doorsteps?

I am flattened by the complexity of the troubles and tragedies that multiply at accelerating speeds around us.

I knew the goat clan would be lamenting this situation.

I read somewhere that a child of 3 years old managed to get here. Makes me want to cry. That's just a little younger than my first great grandchild. I cannot even imagine the desperation that parent felt...
