Living in hurricane country myself, I understand the term ripped as it is used here! But sometimes Nor'easters do as much or even more damage to our trees.
Quite a shot. Hope it wasn't one of your trees!

Wow! That is scary! I'm thankful I live in an area where there are no hurricanes as a rule. I think we had one in 200 years.

The power of nature! It reminds us how puny we really are. Great take on the theme Anne!

Wow ! that's impressive !

As TNChick doesn't continue, I start next week with "Photo Hunting" exactly the same as "Photo Hunters" but with a new logo and I'll try to make up a link list. The theme list is already done and will be published next week. If you want to join leave your link in Mr. Linky !
The Photo Hunting takes place here

Even after all this time, there are still remnants of Ike. Can't imagine the damage left from Irene and all the decades of growth destroyed.

Scary but perfect for this theme. Those looks like huge trees too. I'd glad that hurricane season is over for the year. Have a great weekend!

Those are huge roots! I have a pic of a tree that fell during a bad storm in Marietta a few years back - a friend is standing next to it - makes him look like a toy!
