So Today I Broke FaceBook

I found out early this morning that Facebook is not working today. They said they are working on it.

No problem, I thought, I have other things to do today. Mama had a doctor's appointment that I was taking her to this morning. So I did that. It took almost all morning. There was only one doctor working today. I didn't mind. Mama and I got a chance to spend some time together.

We even rode around town looking at the halloween decorations. Graveyards appear overnight all over town. Some of them so real looking you'd think they had been there forever, until you notice the men coming up out of the graves. My cousins have the most realistic one in town.

So I come home and have lunch and turn the computer back on. What? Facebook is still broke? Oh well, lets see what's going on outside.

This is the new flag my daughter gave me for my birthday to welcome in Fall. I love it.

This is a close up of cotton growing across the road from us.

This is the whole field.

And this is a close up of my neighbors dogwood tree.

Today is a beautiful day. Temps in the high 70's and sunshine. So different from all last week of rain and cold temps.

Think I'll go check on Facebook again. I have crops in the fields and mean people after me. Facebook has so many fun games. My family is telling me that they have 800 numbers for people who get addicted. I think they are trying to tell me something ......

You really got me laughing! I've noticed you really like those FaceBook games! I believe I remember you saying in the beginning that you weren't interested in them! LOL!
I loved your pictures today, hope your Mom is doing OK, it's nice that you got some extra time with her!

I'm surprised you're not having withdrawal symptoms, Ann! I was on Facebook before and had no problem. Maybe it's just the games that are not working.

Nice pictures! My dogwoods are all a beautiful red now. And after a few mid-70s days, we are getting rain again today.

I'm afraid we're all about to self-destruct as we try to split ourselves between our blogs and facebook.

Ann,

I love the flag that your daughter gave you. Very colorful and pretty.

I have seen cotton growing in the fields. It is amazing to see the fields all white and fluffy.

Enjoy your weekend, my friend.

Blessings,
Mary

I love to see the fields of cotton, but there isn't much grown here any more. The gin sits gathering cobwebs.
But the soybean harvest has begun!

Stay well!

My other friend is doing that Farmtown thingie, too. I think she may be a single woman before it is over. She is so worried about harvesting and planting, she has no time for cooking!

I don't do facebook. I joined Blotanical, it keeps me busy enough! Look, I only need another 150 points to be.....something or 'nother. LOL

Anyway, I never saw so many gardening blogs in one spot as there are over there!

I too am a FB addict, but it's o.k. I use it as an excuse to keep my siblings updated on my pregnancy. My hubby's not buying it, but I'm sticking to my story.

Your pictures are really beautiful. I remember the cotton fields we used to drive through when stationed at Fort Polk, LA. Looked so soft!

Love your new fall flag and looking at the cotton fields around your house. I've never actually seen one so it's really interesting for me. Our town really gets into the "spirit" of Halloween with many people decorating their houses and yards. I've been going to get out and get some pictures taken of decorations around our neighborhood, but it hasn't happened yet. Better hurry....

Hi, my name is Uncle Joe and I'm a recovering Facebook Addict!!!

Just say NO to facebook.
That's only 1 step. Without the other 11.

Although sometimes I do wonder what's become of my farm on Farmtown.
