At Last She Learns

On three different mornings I opened my blinds to see a web across one of the windows with this big spider on it.

On three different mornings I tenderly raked the web and spider off the window with my broom and placed her in the hosta by the front steps.

This morning she was not there. I found her near the edge of the porch. At last she has learned.

I hope hope she finds many bugs to trap in her web.

What a colorful spider. I would have done that as well. Great shot, Ann!

Have a good weekend!

I guess I'm mean, but I would have tenderly swept her off the window...then steped on her! Sorry, just being honest here!
You are a very sweet person!

How kind of you! "As you do unto the least of these..."
Hopefully she will eat up a bunch of your skeeters!

Yes. You are indeed sweet. I may not have been so gracious.

I usually just leave them alone (too scared to move them -lol). Once I had a spider just like this one build a web on the outside of my kitchen window. I left her there and she moved about 3 weeks later.

This is a writing spider. If they write your name, you're dead.

They are beautiful in their own way, but these spiders give me the creeps. They say they won't hurt you, but I disagree, because if one ever got on me I would have a heart attack.
