9-11 Fly Your American Flag

We have been asked to fly our American flags on 9-11.

So just as I did that fateful day eight years ago, I have hung my flags. This one at my back door.

And this one at my front door. As you can see the wind is blowing out of the north east and my flag is in the breeze.

I hope to see many, many, flags flying in my neighborhood on 9/11/2009. We will never forget!!

Thanks for reminding me. I just put mine out... it was almost a catastrophe, but I did it without injury. (dropped the flag pole on top of my car, then dropped the ax that I was using to reach it with, on my foot) I finally went to the barn to get a taller ladder. God bless the USA!!!

Okay...now go in and put your feet up... too many things going on at your house today. Try not to stress over Tumpy... he'll probably be fine...

Thank you for reminding me. It is a great way to remember it. I'll put one on my mailbox- my house is way back.
Next year- the roof of the barn

Your flags look beautiful, Ann!

I flew my flag as well, but since my house is way in from the road, I also taped a small one on my mailbox.

I shed some tears as I prayed for the victims and their loved ones, prayed for our country, and prayed for peace in our troubled world. Oh, do you think we'll ever have peace? I hope so.

God bless the United States of America! And we need His blessing more than ever now!
