Grimesland, NC ...Very Interesting Place

On the way home from the reception we came back through the sleepy little town of Grimesland. This store caught my attention and I had my husband circle back and I jumped out and took some pictures of this store's windows. The full figures in the first picture are what brought me back, but when I got out and started looking there were so many things that caught my eye.

I'm going back sometime when the store is open.

Bee,
Those are the very questions I want to ask the store owner?

Looks like someone has seen the Terra Cotta Warrior from Xian China and brought a bunch of the remakes.
Love them in person and in my home!

What a quaint store, with interesting stuff. I would go back too and check it out more thoroughly. If you do that Ann, take more pictures.

Thanks for sharing your interesting finds. Have a nice evening.

Can I come too - they do look exactly like the entombed warriors - I'd love a couple in my new garden!!!

I'm surprised you didn't wait for them to open...you know you would have if you could have, right? Lol...where is Grimesland in relationship to Charlotte? Maybe I could meet you there!

I've decided to start carrying my camera around with me to cathch those unexpected blog post ideas like you do! I also need to have extra batteries as my new camera seems to go through them rather quickly! :O)

Ann,

That looks like a very interesting store. I do hope when you go back that you will tell us all about it. And the name of the town is very unique.

Take care and enjoy the season.
Blessings,
Mary

Janette already said it -

But these statues also remind me of the terra cotta soldiers.

Check out this link:

Ann, if you go back there, find out if they are life size and the price tag. I would like to own a few of these bad boys for protection.

Oh what fun to find a place like that! I will have to find it if I ever get down that way - like when ga$ goes back down - yeah, right.
Let us know if you DO go back!
