Goat's Whisper

Samantha was in Ireland and missed an important meeting. Syria attacked with chemical weapons. Not important enough for Samatha's presence? Like Benghazi? Hillary and Barry couldn't be bothered. No one knows where they were that night. What Next? Where's Valerie?

So...

There were six little guineas when this picture was snapped. Something got one of them. I guess a possum was hungry.

Life is hard sometimes. Things happen and there is absolutely nothing you can do but pray. Did I say "but pray"? I should have said.. "WE CAN PRAY AND WE KNOW THAT OUR GOD HEARS US. WE KNOW THAT HE IS STILL IN CONTROL. WE CAN TRUST HIM WITH EVERYTHING THAT COMES INTO OUR LIVES."

So I think I will!!

Messages From The Sky

Blogger refuses to work correctly for me!
This baloon came down in our back yard and scared our dog.
I rushed out to get it before she did.
I wonder how far it traveled.
I don't know a Mrs. Ethel except my Aunt who lives in town.
And a couple of Ethels who have gone on to heaven.
There is no note inside.
Still a "fun" find !!

Irene and Rountree Church

Rountree Church had just got a new roof not long before Hurricane Irene came to North Carolina. This shows the damage after the storm passed. They had to meet in a resturant in town for awhile while the church was repaired. That new roof leaked, so when they had to redo the roof, they decided to get new siding too... thus the pictures in the post before this one.

Posted

This is our fearless leader. He always walks ahead. Notice he is carrying the hammer and has some nails in his pockets.
Now I am always in the middle of the line. I am carrying the signs that we are going to nail up all around the pond. I also have the cell phone, with very little battery left, trying to take some pictures. I love to be the one with the camera. That way I don't get my picture taken.

I heard footsteps behind me before we crossed the wire fence.  You know I'm a little afraid of these goats, but I did look back long enough to take their picture.  We got all the posted signs up.  Some say No Trespassing.  Some say No Hunting or Fishing.  Just a typical day out here on Curt's Goat Farm.
