Nothing Better

Nothing better than sitting in the sand between Aunt April and Grandma, being fed chocolate cake and ice cream on the beach!

Finding Amy ...

Finding Amyfrom LIVING ON GRACE.... by PatFinding Amy Ahonen

I've copied this from Sara's blog today. This need is more important than anything else I could post. Please pray.

Amy has been missing for two weeks from the Denver, Colorado area with no leads as to her whereabouts. All that is certain is that she did not disappear willingly. Her jeep was found on the side of a road unlocked with her purse, cell phone and keys under the seat. You can visit the Amy's search web site at www.FindAmy.org Facebook search for Amy Ahonen. If you would consider copying her picture and information to your blogs and facebook pages that would be a great blessing as someone somewhere surely knows something, and the more exposure Amy's story has the better.
I hope you will join me as we pray for Amy's return and for her family as they go through this unimaginable heartache. Thank you

Goat Conference

Why do charity organizations send out nickles and dimes stuck to begging material? Seems to me, if they just kept all that money they wouldn't have to beg so much.

How in the world does the government think they can keep borrowing money to pay that which they owe? No cutbacks on their spending either. It doesn't work in the real world.

Why do the politions say they will do thus and so, but as soon as they get to Washington they go along the same old ways?

Why do people go to the doctor and then not do as they are advised? Lost trust somewhere?

Why do us goats keep on asking these same old questions? People never learn !!

Other People's Views

I rode with my husband to return a lawn mower he had repaired. As I waited for him to unload the mower, I was thinking what a beautiful view these people had as they headed out from their home. I loved the way the trees met overhead. So of course, I wanted you to see it too.

This has been a good week. It has been HOT, but I'm inside with the air conditioner. My poor husband and son have stayed outside doing all the work. I was hoping my husband would take a break, but he keeps on working.

My granddaughter is coming home from Hawaii this month. We are all looking forward to seeing her. My daughter is planning to have us all come to the beach to welcome her back.

Life is good!

A Good Day

We took a little ride down toward the coast. Longest ride since my husband had surgery last. Got the results and it was benign. Thank you Lord!!

These birds were in the parking lot. I took the picture as my husband was tying down the new porch set we bought.

Hope your day was good!!

He who sits in my Bird Bath

The weekend is over.

My husband had his surgery on the 28th of June. All went well. We spent the night in the hospital and came home the next day. We go back to see the doctor on Wednesday.

I think I heard the doctor tell my husband no driving for a week. On Thursday of last week, the nurse from the hospital, called to see how he was doing. I had to tell her that he was not here. He had driven into town to get his truck inspected. LOL She promised to keep our secret.

At least he didn't go back to work yet. We put a sign up saying we were closed until July 5th. We went to visit my cousin who is in the hospital on Saturday. For the last few years we have gone to the beach just for the day on July 4th. Didn't do that today. And we decided to stay home tonight and watch the fireworks from our front porch. Guess we are getting old?
