Moon Flower
My husband told me he had seen a large white flower on Saturday. But could not find it. He kept saying he thought he'd seen it on the fence. I told him there was a moon flower out there but it only blooms at night and I hadn't even seen it bloom.
Late this afternoon, on my way to the mailbox, I saw it. And it wasn't even dark. Isn't it pretty?

At Last She Learns
On three different mornings I opened my blinds to see a web across one of the windows with this big spider on it.
On three different mornings I tenderly raked the web and spider off the window with my broom and placed her in the hosta by the front steps.
This morning she was not there. I found her near the edge of the porch. At last she has learned.
I hope hope she finds many bugs to trap in her web.

9-11 Fly Your American Flag
We have been asked to fly our American flags on 9-11.
So just as I did that fateful day eight years ago, I have hung my flags. This one at my back door.
And this one at my front door. As you can see the wind is blowing out of the north east and my flag is in the breeze.
I hope to see many, many, flags flying in my neighborhood on 9/11/2009. We will never forget!!

We're Going To The Party
We are so excited. We have been invited to a Tea Party.
It is Raggedy Ann's Birthday!!It is raining out side, so this Ann quickly put on her raincoat. She's all ready to go to the party. All these girls have decided they want to go to the Tea Party.
All these boys want to go, too!!
Even the baby dolls want to go!
The "BIG" dolls want to go to the Tea Party.
These decided we need to take a present, so we put them in charge of picking it out.
They picked this video...
and these books...
and these paper dolls...
These deciced they were not going. Their clothes are too soiled and one of them is embarrassed over her short, short hair cut.
Beloved Belindy said she would stay home and take care of all the ones who are sick and not feeling well so the others can go to the party.
We hope you will come along with us and attend the Tea Party. It's going to be so much fun!
