A quick trip to the Outer Banks on Sunday. Red flags flying everywhere.

I have never been to the Outer Banks and enjoyed seeing the photos. I'm glad that Hannah didn't wreck havoc in your area. We got some rain from her today. Seems like we've had a lot of rain this year, but thank goodness our water table is back where it should be for the first time in years.

Take care, my friend and have a great week.
Blessings,
Mary

Glad that you were spared serious damage from Hanna. We have been missed by all the storms so far - didn't even get any rain - we could have used that. ec

Hey! Lucky you!!!! We still hear the chain saws in the area. Lots of people lost their Bradford pear trees... My maple is on the ground and most of the mess is cleaned up - now we have to get the trunk cut up. sigh. When the wind comes across the fields, my trees are the first line of resistance. Guess I need to get some Leyland Cypress out there.
So glad to hear you are OK!

It still looks inviting, even with the red flags flying. I'm a big fan of the outer banks...I'd love to live in your area, but living near my kids and family takes 1st place in my heart. Glad you didn't get too much damage, may the good Lord continue to hold you in the palm of His hand!

Glad you came out o.k. We narrowly misses Gustav and now are prepping for Ike. It's been a busy season! Not really what is meant when you think it'd be nice to have guys chasing you!

I was surprised to see anyone at that cold looking beach! I guess it was not as cold as it looks, but I certainly wouldnt want to swim there.
