The wild grape vines are turning yellow. The ditch is full of yellow grape leaves. Did you notice the electric fence for the goats still hasn't been repaired? This one red leaf gives me hope that more color will come.
NC has some beautiful fall colors. We have little in Crisfield, so we journey to the family farm 6 hours north. Not really a farm, just lots of trees, and the colors are spectacular. I wish fall would not be so short . Such a beautiful time of the year, and the shortest season, it seems.

Autumn is here, for sure! We should enjoy a;; the colours we can, before the snow flies and the world becomes all white...

My favorite time of year. I love all the golds and reds of the trees and just wish they would stay a little bit longer!
Sometimes "one red leaf" is all we get,but it is enough to keep us hoping for the next day. :)
