Rains Everyday

Water has a hard time running off when it rains every day.  Our weather people say rain tomorrow and for most of next week.  At least the reflections are interesting.

Snake Tracks

This afternoon, Husband wanted to walk back down to the pond.  I found this section of the path very interesting. I told him I saw snake tracks. (Click on the pic.. it will get bigger)

The neighbors decided to join us.  We enjoyed the company.

The water was dark and I was looking every where for snakes.  We didn't see any at the pond.  However, on the walk back to our house, my husband went one way and I went the other.  Just before I got out of the woods and back into the pasture, my husband yelled that he'd just seen a snake just ahead of him.  That made me speed up and I hurried back to the safety of my yard.  I don't think I'll be making any more trips back to the pond until winter.
