I Need A Trip

I got another Nicholas Sparks book for Christmas.

This was the saddest one I've read so far.

I will not spoil the book by telling you anything.

My sisters have not read it yet. We usually pass Nicholas Sparks around.

I will say this one is set in Oriental N.C.

I've visited the area a few times.

I remember our whole family staying at Gene Newcomb's house there in my teens.

I have pictures to prove it.

After reading this one, I want to go back to Oriental and Vandemere N.C.

Soon!!

I really enjoy Nicholas Sparks books too. I don't bother to waste time on books now, if they don't 'speak' to me. Must be getting old!! haha. XX

I haven't read a Nicholas Spark book in years. Looks like I've missed this one, so have added it to my To-Read list.

Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Mary

I love Nicholas Sparks' books. Thank you for posting this. It's the one book that I'll probably get around to reading.

Nicholas Sparks is a master in form and style when it comes to writing. He knows how to touch his reader's heart. I've heard a lot of his latest "The Best of Me," and looking forward to get one. November last year, he said in an interview that writing is very painful and arduous almost torturous process. Him saying this, no wonder he "always" comes up with a great story.
