Not a good day for people with allergies. The winds have shifted and the smoke from a wildfire in Dare County is blowing back our way.
And then I was right about cutting the wheat field today. All kinds of dust is going on across the road. I won't even mention the pile of trash my husband burned while I took my mom to the doctor this morning.
This pretty pink petunia was a volunteer that came up at my back door. I planted it in this pot and put it on the front porch.
We need some rain to settle the dust and put out that wildfire.

That's a lot of dust! Ha, Ha! I know about men and their fires!!!
Hope the rain comes soon!
Yuk on dust and smoke... get your gas mask out. LOL I had a petunia to volunteer in a pot from last year; I was so excited. Those things don't happen to me very often. :o)
My allergies have been acting up too. I live on a gravel road, and with the dry, scorching hot weather, there is plenty of dust. I'm coughing and sneezing. Achoo, and God bless me. You, as well, Ann.
Hope you get some rain, soon, to settle things down. We got a threat, but not more than a tiny sprinkle. Very tiny. Thankfully, the temp dropped about 10 degrees. We're frying here.
Hope you get your rain soon so the dust settles, Im off to have a bonfire lol.
This is a bad time of the year for allergies and as you mentioned from the wildfire and the farmers working in their fields.
