This was taken Saturday April 16,2011. The winds had blown all day keeping the dust rolling across the fields. Later in the day, the tornados came to North Carolina.
Great shots as usual. Loved your post about the older generation (that would be me) that did not have the green thing. I walked MILES, washed diapers, did not own a drier, grew my own food, canned stuff... didn't even have a TV for most of those years - just didn't want one. Played records or listened to NPR. Not a bit green.
Wow, these are really interesting photos. Re tornadoes: remember having to stay in basements during tornado warnings at college in Wisconsin. Fortunately, none actually came through the campus!

Wow, those skies look so intense. I hope you came through the tornadoes okay. The wind shook my house but everything was okay. I was lucky!
Have a wonderful Easter!
Very intense pics! Happy Easter!

There is something very beautiful as well as ominous in these shots. Great choices for this week. Happy Easter.
Good choice for the theme. Nice pic. Happy weekend. mine is up too.
Wow. That brings a lot of dust. Hope everything was OK after that.
Happy weekend to you.
that looks like a dusty, strong wind sweeping across the field. I hope no one was injured by the tornado.
Great photos for this week.
Happy Weekend.
Oh no. I wonder how the place looks now. Hope the damage is not too extensive.
Thanks for following me. We might move to FL from CA, so hurricanes are expected. Hope nothing happened to you. Sonia.
My 17-year-old is at NMMI, in New Mexico. I support all our troops. Sonia
