Your photos remind me of a possum I saw from my window years back late one night. Gave me quite the scare as I wasn't expecting to see wildlife as large as it in urban West Philadelphia! :O
Looks like you caught your intruder or I should say intruders , we had a possum on the back porch eating the catfood last night. They're funny looking little creatures.
As one who rehabs possums, I am wondering what will happen to these little ones. Remember, possums are your friends. They eat rats and mice and bugs, the love dining on copperhead snakes. They do NOT get rabies. Yes, they will also eat cat or dog food - a nice snack if you leave it out - but I would fear the raccoons being attracted to it - now those little monkeys can do some serious damage AND they carry rabies - AND THEY will attack - but a possum won't if he can find a way out. I hope she got in this trap by mistake and was let go.

Oh my! So cute :)
I hope that is a temporary home in that cage. The babies are so cute.
Happy weekend to you.
I agree with jmb. The cage will be too small for them.
Have a fabulous weekend!
