This is the calf that my husband raised on a bottle.
About two weeks ago, he was loaded up and taken to the Market. He weighed over 200 pounds and my husband was satisfied with the check he recieved.
The goats are having kids again. Little ones running everywhere. Too many animals. Husband couldn't spend enough time looking after everyone, so Calf was sent away.
There's also a funny story about Husband taking an unexpected ride on the bull that might have convinced him the time was right to send him on to market. But I won't tell that one. Ha ha
Someone bought a mighty fine animal. Just don't let him come up behind you.

Hi Ann,
Nice looking baby! And your husband must be busy with all the new kids. I would really have a hard time selling any of them, so it's a good thing I don't raise any.
Happy Tuesday!
Hugs,
Renie
I'll miss that baby! He was so cute! Will and I will have some one day hopefully... Cows that is! Haha.
He's not the one who bruised Daddy's leg, is he?
Oh my, I can fully understand how you decided it was time for the little fella to go! As our orphan bully calf got bigger, he was definitely inclined to take you for a ride during bottle feeding or step on your feet ... and he wasn't even THAT big!
Your husband did a great job raising the calf and good luck with the little kid's, ha, ha. Have a very nice week.
Goodbye Calf!
Our bottle fed goat acts like he doesn't know me anymore..... after I went out there and fed him in the snow! Of all the nerve!
