Your chipped teapot and my chipped tea cups would go well together.

I see from your comment that you got the same amount of snow as Durham. It was really weird the way it was so different in neighboring towns with Raleigh getting 6 inches and Durham getting 3 inches.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Oh my gosh, that is such a beautiful teapot! Is that old Fiesta ware? I love how the lacy doily is reflecting on it - awesome shot! It's funny because I never thought of chipped china and I'm sure I have some around here somewhere.

Great post - love your photo!

And yes, I agree with Carver about the strange NC snow fall amounts. I'm north of Durham and I only got about 2 inches or so.

Have a great weekend!

I just knew someone would have a chipped teapot. What a lovely colour and shape. Such a shame.

Happy weekend.

That's pretty! I couldn't see the chips at first.

Hmm.. I wonder why that mouth part has always been the most fragile area to get chipped. Same problem here... :P

The first teapot I have seen for the theme - but maybe not the last. Not very good for keeping pencils in.

What a brilliant color...is it a chocolate pot, tho? I have one like this, (different color) but my grandmother told me because the spout starts at the bottom of the pot it's a chocolate pot, to help keep a skim from forming on the hot cocoa...love it, no matter what it is!
