In the blog under this one, I thought I was doing a little funny post. Guess, what? Not many people got it. I guess I should have said it was a riddle.
Anyway there were maybe three comments that let me know they completely understood.
I must have lost my touch, as well as my mind.I might take
Deborah Wilson's advice and head for the woods.

I see it all now. I don't get American politics, so does this mean I am excused?
Actually, it was a VERY clever riddle, Ann! Just that some of your readers weren't clever enough to get it. I wouldn't have gotten it either. LOL.
Have a good one!

I thought you were just having a bad day. :) :) I don't care much for politics, I just know who not to vote for. :) ec
Once I realized who you were talking about, I LOVED it! Did you make this up? Good job!
Oh I get it! Thanks for clarifying! :)
It took me a couple of times reading the riddle before I got it.lol Hope you and yours have a blessed day.
That took a lot of brain power to think up! I have to admit, I'm low on brain power and didn't get it at first, but once explained... I really enjoyed it.
Is this a park in town?
Well... my reaction was Huh??? It took a couple of readings before the light came on, and even then, the light was dim. Help me to understand the farm equipment...
Ann,
Take my advice and head to the woods!
The next few months are going to get nasty....
But I know exactly who I'm going to vote for....
Nobody.
Because I don't feel any of the candidates are qualified and/or don't intend on upholding the Constitution and/or the Bill of Rights and/or protecting America's security.
The only ones who are genuinely concerned with upholding our Constitution and our security are the U.S. Troops, and the politicians (mainly democrats)don't even want to support them.
How lousy is that?
My opinion is that McCain is a closet liberal, Mitt Romney is a liberal, Obama is a radical socialist liberal, and Bob Barr is a flip flopper and does not uphold the constution as evident from his actions back in 1999, which I'll talk about in a little while...
Now we are getting involved with Russia and Georgia...
This isn't looking good at all.
The media is trying to direct the public as to which candidate is the right one - no one else stands a chance - unless they are super rich - and can pay big money for advertisements/air time. This should be illegal. Presidential elections and air time should be a free service to *We The People* - and every candidate should get equal and fair air time in all public debates.
To top it all off, both parties are trying to turn this election into a racial thing.
And Americans are so brainwashed into political correctness, that they are afraid to say anything - not understanding that if they don't start saying something, one day they will have no right to free speech at all - without being a criminal...
Ok, my rant is over....
Guess I'll just have to live with whomever gets elected....but I'm not a happy girl.
Give me the woods anyday -
where peace and beauty rule.
